Description
Doris Shadbolt, a renowned Canadian art historian stated that Emily Carr was one of the most original artists of the first half of the twentieth Century. She was heavily influenced by North-West Coast First Nations culture. She was also a trail blazer, the only female artist of her time in Canada. This work is a tribute to great women who set high goals for themselves. This work is an encaustic mixed media collage on wood, 12″ x 12″ X 3/4″.
